August 26, 2014 - Strakonice, Klatovy, Domazlice to Karlovy Vary

Today was a travel day. Stopped in Strakonice so Sue and I could purchase vozembouchs (stump fiddles) for our bands, then on to Domazlice for lunch and shopping, with a short stop in Klatovy on the way, and Karlovy Vary as our landing spot for the next three days - last hotel before Prague.

Klatovy

Domazlice

Shop selling some traditional items. Sue and Eric ordered him a vest here that would be handmade to order by local folks, including the traditional embroidery.

Ideas for vozembouch accessories.

Karlovy Vary (or Carlsbad) is a spa town situated in western Bohemia, Czech Republic, on the confluence of the rivers Ohře and Teplá, approximately 130 km west of Prague.

Our place in Karlovy Vary - off the beaten path, but we have our trusty GPS.
