Today was another mostly traveling day. Left Karlovy Vary a little after 7 a.m. to head for the Sedlec Ossuary in Kutná Hora for a short stop, then to Poděbrady, another of Eric's ancestral villages, where Sue and I got official Czech baking equipment to accessorize the vozembouchs (stump fiddles) we purchased. Then on to Jiri Koucky's accordion shop in Ondrejov, where we expected to stay for an hour before heading back to Prague to return the rental car.
Music making happened, and three hours later (and a bottle of Becherovka split between Eric and me) and we were back on the road with altered plans - just get to the hotel today and we'll return the rental car tomorrow! Nice to be settled in at the Hotel Beránek until our trip to the airport early Monday morning - no more lugging bags until the trip home!
Had a really lovely dinner just across the street from the hotel and a quiet evening before our two days of excursions in Prague.
