August 25, 2014 - Eric's ancestral villages

Entering the fourth and final week of this trip. A much more relaxed day today. Spent the morning on back roads (thanks GPS), exploring Eric's ancestral villages, passing through some wonderful small South Bohemian villages. GPS worked well, except for one grass cow path it tried to take us down!

Lunch in Mirotice. If you don't use the lemon in your iced tea, we'll recycle it here as an air freshener in the urinal - such creativity!

Back to Strakonice for another attempt to purchase a vozembouch for the band. Supposedly the musical instrument shop would be open on Monday afternoon, but today there was a hand written sign saying they were closed today for a holiday! Argh! We will try again tomorrow morning as we pass through - our absolute last chance!.

More shopping in Horažďovice, then back to the pension for a quiet evening before departing after breakfast tomorrow.
